Some love stories begin with fireworks. Ours began with Ping!!!
Back when BlackBerry Messenger was still a thing, one simple Ping!!! changed everything. Introduced through a mutual friend, we quickly became inseparable through endless conversations, shared stories, laughter, and late-night phone calls. Somewhere along the way, friendship quietly became love.
Before we ever met in person, Oluwatosin — my Arewa — had already found her way into my dreams.
Our first meeting felt like fate. She was surprised to see me at her family’s annual party after I had told her the day before that I would not be attending. But the moment we saw each other, everything felt certain — like we had already known each other for years.
Since then, we have continued choosing each other, building a love rooted in friendship, joy, partnership, companionship and honour.
